Common Use

Lenalidomide is prescribed for multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and certain lymphomas. It works by suppressing abnormal cell growth, enhancing the immune system's ability to attack cancer cells, and inhibiting the formation of new blood vessels that support tumors.

Dosage and Direction

Take lenalidomide orally once daily, with or without food, as directed by your healthcare provider. Swallow the capsules whole; do not crush or chew. Dosage varies based on the condition, kidney function, and patient response. Regular blood‑count and laboratory monitoring is required.

If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.

Precautions

Inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, a history of blood clots, heart problems, or infections.
