Voorzorgsmaatregelen

Geneesmiddeleninteracties

Vermijd het gebruik van Doxycycline met aluminium-, magnesium- of calciumzuurremmers, aangezien deze de absorptie kunnen vertragen. Mineralen zoals calcium of ijzer en bismutsubsalicylaat hebben vergelijkbare effecten. Doxycycline kan de activiteit van warfarine versterken. Geneesmiddelen zoals fenytoïne (dilantin), carbamazepine (Tegretol) en barbituraten (bijv. fenobarbital) kunnen het metabolisme van Doxycycline verhogen.

Gemiste dosis

Neem geen dubbele dosis. Als het bijna tijd is voor uw volgende dosis, sla dan de gemiste dosis over en ga verder met uw normale schema.

Overdosering

Als u ernstige of aanhoudende misselijkheid, braken of diarree ervaart, zoek dan onmiddellijk medische hulp.

Opslag

Bewaar Doxycycline bij kamertemperatuur (59-77°F of 15-25°C) op een droge plaats, weg van licht, kinderen en huisdieren. Niet gebruiken na de vervaldatum.
