Common Use

Voltarol is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to reduce inflammation and pain. It is effective for conditions like arthritis, gout, sprains, fractures, acute injuries, dislocations, back pain, tendinitis, and frozen shoulder. It can also help alleviate menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea). Voltarol works by blocking cyclo-oxygenase, which reduces the production of prostaglandins, substances responsible for pain, swelling, and inflammation.

Dosage and Direction

Take Voltarol orally with water, with or without food. Do not cut, crush, or chew the medication. Follow the prescribed dosage and do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor. It may take time for the medication to show its effects.

Precautions
