Common Use

Vidalista Pro is a highly effective and reversible selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5), specifically targeting cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). When sexual stimulation triggers the release of nitric oxide, Vidalista Pro inhibits PDE 5, leading to increased cGMP levels in the penile cavernous body. This results in the relaxation of arterial smooth muscles and enhanced blood flow to the penile tissues, facilitating erections. Vidalista Pro only works in the presence of sexual stimulation and has no effect otherwise. It enhances erectile function, enabling successful sexual intercourse. The medication remains effective for up to 36 hours, with effects noticeable as early as 16 minutes after consumption if sexual arousal is present.

Dosage and Direction

The recommended dose of Vidalista Pro is 20 mg, which should be taken at least 16 minutes before sexual activity. Its effects can last up to 36 hours. Vidalista Pro should be taken once daily, and the recommended dose should not be exceeded.

Precautions

It is advisable to avoid consuming Vidalista Pro with grapefruit juice, alcoholic beverages, or tobacco. Combining tobacco use with Vidalista Pro may increase the risk of NAION (sudden optic nerve-related vision loss). Consult your doctor before taking Vidalista Pro if you have any of the following conditions: abnormal penile anatomy, including curvature or birth defects; a history of coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, angina, heart attack, or heart failure; hypo- or hypertension; bleeding disorders; stomach ulcers; diabetes; hyperlipidemia (excess lipids in the blood); sickle-cell anemia; or liver or kidney failure.

Contraindications

Vidalista Pro is contraindicated in patients using any form of organic nitrate, whether regularly or intermittently, as it can enhance the hypotensive effects of nitrates.

Possible Side Effects

The most common side effects of Vidalista Pro include facial flushing, headaches, stomach upset, diarrhea, flu-like symptoms, and nausea. Less commonly, low blood pressure, blurred vision, changes in color vision, and abnormal ejaculation may occur. Prolonged erections or priapism (painful erections lasting more than 6 hours) are also possible. If an erection persists for more than 4 hours, seek immediate medical attention to prevent permanent penile damage. Aggravation of heart problems has been reported in patients with pre-existing heart conditions using Vidalista Pro.

Drug Interactions

Combining Vidalista Pro with medications containing organic nitrates can lead to severe hypotension, which can be dangerous. Avoid taking Vidalista Pro with Erythrityl Tetranitrate, Isosorbide Dinitrate, Isosorbide Mononitrate, Nitroglycerin, or Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate. Medications such as erythromycin, ketoconazole, itraconazole, indinavir, and ritonavir can increase Vidalista Pro's levels and toxicity. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following, as your dose may need adjustment: Atazanavir, Bunazosin, Clarithromycin, Doxazosin, Erythromycin, Indinavir, Itraconazole, Ketoconazole, Moxisylyte, Nefazodone, Nelfinavir, Phenoxybenzamine, Phentolamine, Prazosin, Saquinavir, Telithromycin, Terazosin, Trimazosin, or Urapidil.

Missed Dose

Missed doses are not applicable for Vidalista Pro as it is taken on an as-needed basis for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Overdose

An overdose of Vidalista Pro may result in symptoms similar to its side effects. Seek immediate medical attention if you suspect an overdose.

Storage

Store Vidalista Pro at room temperature, away from moisture, sunlight, children, and pets, in a tightly sealed container.
