Common use

Vaniqa is a topical medication used to slow the growth of unwanted facial hair in women. It is commonly prescribed for facial hirsutism (excess hair growth), often caused by hormonal imbalances or conditions like polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The cream doesn't remove hair but works by blocking an enzyme needed for hair growth. Results may take 4-8 weeks of consistent use to become noticeable.

Dosage and direction

Apply a thin layer of Vaniqa cream to the affected facial areas twice daily, at least 8 hours apart. The skin should be clean and dry before application, and you should wait at least 4 hours before washing the treated area. Do not apply makeup or other facial products until the cream is fully absorbed. Continue regular hair removal methods during the treatment.

Precautions

• Avoid applying to broken, irritated, or sunburned skin
• Reduce frequency or stop use if irritation develops
• For external use only - avoid eyes, mouth, and nose
