Common Use

Topiramate is an anticonvulsant medication used to treat epilepsy in both children and adults. It is also prescribed for conditions such as essential tremor, bulimia nervosa, obsessive-compulsive disorder, alcoholism, smoking cessation, neuropathic pain, and more.

Dosage and Direction

Take Topiramate orally with a glass of water, with or without food. Do not cut, crush, or chew the medication. Follow the prescribed dosage and do not take it more frequently than directed.
