Common Use

Tofisopam is a benzodiazepine derivative used to treat anxiety and stress-related disorders. Unlike traditional benzodiazepines, it has minimal sedative effects and does not cause significant muscle relaxation or cognitive impairment.

Dosage and Direction

The recommended dosage is usually 50-150 mg per day, divided into multiple doses as prescribed by a doctor. It should be taken orally with water, preferably after meals, to reduce potential stomach discomfort.

Precautions

• Patients with liver or kidney disorders should use Tofisopam with caution
• Alcohol consumption should be avoided, as it may enhance side effects

Contraindications
