Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal and antibiotic medication used to treat certain infections caused by protozoa or infections in the vagina. It effectively kills sensitive parasites and bacteria and is also used to treat specific sexually transmitted infections.
Take Tinidazole orally with food or milk for best results. It is recommended to take it at the same time each day.

Avoid alcohol while taking Tinidazole and for 3 days after stopping. Combining alcohol with Tinidazole may cause stomach cramps, nausea, vomiting, headaches, and flushing. If treating trichomoniasis, ensure your sexual partner is treated simultaneously, even if asymptomatic.
