Tastylia comes in strips of 10 pieces per package, with each strip containing 20 mg of the active ingredient Tadalafil. While Tadalafil has a strong effect on sexual stimulation, it is not the primary cause of an erection. The process of achieving an erection involves the release of Nitric Oxide (NO) in the corpus cavernosum during sexual arousal. NO activates the enzyme Guanylate Cyclase, which increases levels of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). This ultimately leads to the relaxation of smooth muscles and increased blood flow to the corpus cavernosum.
Additionally, Tadalafil can improve the health of patients with benign prostatic hypertrophy, enlarged prostate symptoms, or pulmonary arterial hypertension.
The recommended dosage for Tastylia is one 20 mg strip taken orally, at least one hour before sexual activity. Do not exceed one strip per day.
To use Tastylia, tear open the zip-lock package, place the strip on your tongue, and let it dissolve. A fresh flavor will spread in your mouth as the active ingredients enter your bloodstream through your saliva. Effects typically begin within 6 to 15 minutes.
Dosage may vary based on your doctor's recommendation. Tastylia can be taken with or without food. Always take a full strip; do not divide it into smaller portions.
Remember, Tastylia does not cause an erection on its own. Sexual arousal is necessary for an erection to occur.

However, studies are inconclusive about Tadalafil's role in such cases.
Avoid alcohol and grapefruit products while using Tastylia, as they may cause unwanted side effects. Additionally, do not use other medications like Alprostadil or Yohimbine without consulting your doctor.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience signs of an allergic reaction, such as hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of the face, lips, or tongue.
Discontinue use and contact a doctor if you experience a painful erection lasting more than four hours, sudden blindness, heart attack symptoms, chest pain, nausea, sweating, or pressure spreading to your jaw or shoulders.
Call emergency services if you develop ringing in your ears, sudden hearing loss, irregular heartbeat, swelling in the hands, ankles, or feet, convulsions, or a feeling of fainting.
Common side effects include headache, indigestion, muscle pain, nausea, back pain, limb pain, and flushing. Some mild effects, such as stomach discomfort, may subside as your body adjusts to the medication.
Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, including antibiotics, antifungals, antivirals for Hepatitis C or HIV, high blood pressure medications, or treatments for prostate disorders. Always consult your doctor before starting Tastylia to avoid potential interactions.
Since Tastylia is taken as needed, there is no dosage schedule, and a missed dose is not applicable.
Taking more than one Tastylia strip per day may lead to an overdose. If you suspect an overdose, seek emergency help or call the Poison Help Line at 1-800-222-1222.
Store Tastylia strips in a dry place at room temperature (77°F or 20-25°C). Keep them out of reach of children and pets, and avoid storing them in the bathroom.
