Common Use

Soriatane (acitretin) is prescribed for severe, disabling psoriasis that has not responded to other treatments. It works by normalizing skin cell growth and reducing scaling, thickness, and inflammation of psoriatic lesions.

Dosage and Direction

Take Soriatane orally once daily, with or without food. Dosage is individualized based on body weight, disease severity, and patient response. Regular laboratory monitoring of liver function, lipid levels, and blood counts is required during treatment.

Precautions
