Common Use

Prinivil belongs to a class of medications known as ACE inhibitors. It is primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), congestive heart failure, and to improve survival rates following a heart attack. Additionally, this medication may be prescribed to protect the kidneys from damage caused by diabetes.

Dosage and Direction

Take this medication orally, typically once daily or as directed by your healthcare provider. It can be taken with or without food.
