Podowart stops wart cells from replicating, preventing the wart from growing larger and eventually killing off the wart tissue. This process permanently removes the unwanted growth. Additionally, it promotes healing by rejuvenating the affected area and helping to form new skin layers where the wart was located.

Dosage and Direction

Cover the surrounding normal skin to prevent the medicine from spreading. Apply one drop of Podowart at a time to the wart using a toothpick or cotton swab until the wart is fully covered. Leave the medicine in place for 1 to 6 hours, as recommended by your doctor. Afterward, remove it by washing thoroughly with soap and water or using rubbing alcohol. Wash your hands after application to avoid spreading the medicine to healthy skin. Repeat this process once daily for up to six weeks.

Precautions

Podophyllum resin is toxic if ingested. Keep Podowart out of reach of children. If accidentally swallowed, contact a poison control center and seek immediate medical attention. Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes, and other mucous membranes. If Podowart gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes.

Avoid using Podowart in the following situations:

• If the area around the wart is irritated, swollen, or bleeding
• If the wart has hair growing out of it
• If you recently had surgery on the wart

Do not apply Podowart to moles or birthmarks; it is only intended for warts.

Contraindications

Inform your doctor if you have other skin conditions, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have diabetes or circulatory problems, or have sensitive skin. These factors may make it unsafe for you to use Podowart. Follow your doctor's advice and explore alternative treatments if necessary.

Possible Side Effects

The most common side effect is a reaction at the application site, such as burning, irritation, itching, or redness. These symptoms are usually mild and resolve on their own. Drug Interactions

Missed Dose

Overdose

Use Podowart only as directed. Do not double the dose, even if you missed the previous one, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

Storage

Store Podowart at a temperature between 15-30°C (59-86°F) in a tightly sealed, light-resistant container.
