Common Use

Fludac is a medicine used to treat the following conditions:

• Obsessive-compulsive disorder
• Depression
• Bulimia nervosa
• Premenstrual dysphoric disorder
• And many other disorders

Dosage and Directions

The common dose of Fludac is 1 tablet 1-2 times a day. For best results:

• Take Fludac regularly for a long period of time
• It may take 4 weeks before feeling relief from depression
• After 3 months of use, effects may last for about 9 months
• For obsessive-compulsive disorder, best results may take 5 weeks

Precautions

Before taking Fludac:

• Discuss any allergies with your doctor
• Inform your doctor about history of seizures
• Use caution when driving or operating machinery

This medicine can cause dizziness or drowsiness.

Contraindications

Do not take Fludac if:

• You are recovering from a heart attack
• You have liver disease or diabetes
• You are pregnant, may become pregnant, or breastfeeding

There have not been adequate studies of Fludac's effects during pregnancy. Fludac passes into breast milk.

Possible Side Effects

Side Effects in Children and Adolescents

• Hyperactivity
• Mania or hypomania
• Personality changes
• Excessive menstrual bleeding

Missed Dose
