Common Use

Fildena is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. It is an analog version of Viagra, or sildenafil citrate, which is also used for the treatment of sexual dysfunction in men. Fildena works by increasing the amount of blood flow to the penis.

Dosage and Direction

A 100mg dose of Fildena typically takes effect within 45 minutes and lasts for 4 to 6 hours.

Precautions

Before taking Fildena, inform your doctor if you have any of the following conditions or are taking specific medications:

• Allergies
• Anemia
• Eye diseases
• Cancer
• High or low blood pressure
• Irregular heart rhythm
• Heart failure

• Doxazosin (Cardura), prazosin (Minipress), Terazosin (Hytrin).
• HIV medications such as indinavir (Crixivan), amprenavir (Agenerase), darunavir (Prezista), efavirenz (Sustiva), tipranavir (Aptivus), nevirapine (Viramune), saquinavir (Invirase, Fortovase), lopinavir/ritonavir (Kaletra), fosamprenavir (Lexiva), ritonavir (Norvir), atazanavir (Reyataz), or nelfinavir (Viracept).
• Antifungal medications like itraconazole (Sporanox) or ketoconazole (Nizoral).
• Carbamazepine (Tegretol), phenobarbital (Luminal), or phenytoin (Dilantin).
• Rifampin (Rifadin, Rimactane) or rifabutin (Mycobutin).

Missed Dose

Fildena is taken as needed, so a missed dose is not applicable.

Overdose

If you suspect an overdose of Fildena, symptoms may include fainting, chest pain, nausea, irregular heartbeat, and lightheadedness. Seek immediate medical assistance if these symptoms occur.

Storage

Store Fildena at room temperature, away from moisture, sunlight, children, and pets, in a tightly sealed container.
