Dutas is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), also known as benign prostatic hypertrophy or benign enlargement of the prostate (BEP). It addresses the increase in prostate size in men. Dutas helps decrease urinary retention, reduces the risk of surgery, and untreated BPH may contribute to prostate cancer.
