Common Use

Cosopt eye drops are indicated for the treatment of open‑angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension. The medication lowers intraocular pressure by reducing fluid production in the eye and improving fluid drainage. Proper control of eye pressure helps prevent optic nerve damage and vision loss.

Dosage and Administration

The usual dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) twice daily, or as prescribed by your doctor.

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the drops.
2. Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or fingers.
3. Tilt your head back, instill the drop, and close the eye gently for a few seconds.
4. Follow your healthcare provider's instructions and do not skip doses.

Precautions
