Common Use

Cialis is a highly effective, reversible, and selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5), which is specific to cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). During sexual stimulation, the local release of nitric oxide leads to the inhibition of PDE 5 by Cialis. This results in increased cGMP levels in the cavernous body of the penis. The relaxation of arterial smooth muscles and enhanced blood flow to the penile tissues facilitates erections. It's important to note that Cialis has no effect in the absence of sexual stimulation. Dosage and Direction

Precautions

It is advisable to avoid consuming grapefruit juice, alcoholic beverages, or tobacco while using Cialis. Common side effects of Cialis include facial flushing (reddening), headaches, stomach upset, diarrhea, flu-like symptoms, and nausea. • Erythrityl Tetranitrate
• Isosorbide Dinitrate
• Isosorbide Mononitrate
• Nitroglycerin
• Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate

Cialis levels and toxicity may increase when taken with:

• Erythromycin, ketoconazole (Nizoral), itraconazole (Sporanox), indinavir (Crixivan), ritonavir (Norvir), and other medications such as Atazanavir, Bunazosin, Clarithromycin, Doxazosin, Indinavir, Itraconazole, Ketoconazole, Moxisylyte, Nefazodone, Nelfinavir, Phenoxybenzamine, Phentolamine, Prazosin, Saquinavir, Telithromycin, Terazosin, Trimazosin, or Urapidil

Inform your doctor if you are taking any of these medications, as your Cialis dosage may need adjustment.

Missed Dose

Missing a dose of Cialis is not applicable, as it is taken on an as-needed basis for the treatment of erectile dysfunction.

Overdose

Overdosing on Cialis may result in symptoms similar to its side effects. If you suspect an overdose, seek immediate medical assistance.

Storage

Store Cialis at room temperature in a tightly sealed container, away from moisture, sunlight, children, and pets.
