Common Use
CellCept medication is used to suppress the immune system after inner organ transplantation. The immune system may reject a transplanted organ (such as a kidney, liver, or heart) because it perceives the organ as foreign. The active ingredient, mycophenolate mofetil, helps prevent transplant rejection. CellCept tablets are typically taken alongside cyclosporine and steroid medications.
