Common Use

Azelastine is an antihistamine nasal spray used to treat allergy symptoms such as sneezing and itchy or runny nose. This medication works by blocking the action of histamine, which helps reduce allergy symptoms. Azelastine can also help relieve other symptoms including nasal congestion and postnasal drip.

Dosage and Direction

Azelastine nasal spray is for nasal use only and should avoid contact with eyes. Gently blow your nose before using this medication.

• The recommended starting dose is 4 sprays per day
• After three days, reduce to 2 sprays per day
